The Vehicle Ownership Satisfaction Study (VOSS) is one of the ways the customer’s voice is heard around the world. This study is conducted among customers who have owned their new vehicle for approximately 24 months. The study is based on actual vehicle owner evaluations of their vehicle quality, design and performance. Automotive manufacturers use the study to measure themselves and their suppliers against the competition and identifying each manufacturer’s relative areas of strength and weakness with respect to product quality, product appeal, dealer service and ownership costs. VOSS is conducted in Germany and the UK.

The study is conducted online and the results are based on more than 18,000 customer responses in each market.
